The 8–4 Pittsburgh Panthers face the 10–2, No. 21 Navy Midshipmen in the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Md on Monday. Navy is in search of the first 11-win season in program history behind dual-threat quarterback Keenan Reynolds, the all-time Division I leader in rushing touchdowns. Pitt is led by quarterback Nathan Peterman and receiver Tyler Boyd, who led the ACC in receptions. Pitt’s tough run defense (126.1 yards per game) will try and contain Navy’s triple-option attack.
