UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone has been released from the hospital and attended team practice Thursday, reports the Orange County Register’s Joey Kaufman.

Mazzone, 58, was hospitalized Monday with blood clots in his lung.

A UCLA spokesman told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday, “Coach Mazzone is resting comfortably, in good spirits and looking forward to getting back with the team as soon as possible.”

Mazzone, a former quarterback at New Mexico, has been with UCLA since 2012. He previously held positions on the coaching staffs of Arizona State, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, Auburn, the New York Jets, as well as several others.
