UCLA offensive lineman Alex Redmond has declared for the NFL draft and withdrawn from the school, reports Jack Wang of the Los Angeles News Group.

Redmond has already hired an agent, meaning that he is no longer eligible to play in the NCAA and will not join the team when it plays Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl on Dec. 26.

Redmond has started 31 games for the Bruins over the last three seasons, mostly seeing time at guard.

The 6'5", 305–pound junior is currently ranked as the ninth-best eligible guard by NFLDraftScout.com

UCLA's offensive line is already thin, with backup guard Kenny Lacy is currently limited due to an ankle injury.
