Creighton dominates Coppin State 102-77

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) Geoffrey Groselle and Isaiah Zierden had 16 points apiece as Creighton scored over 100 points for the second straight game, beating Coppin State 102-77 Monday night.

Creighton (9-4), which beat North Texas 105-82 last Monday, scored 100 or more points in consecutive games for the first time since the 1965-66 season.

Groselle made all eight of his field goal attempts and Zierden hit 6 of 7 shots as the Bluejays made 61 percent (37 of 61) from the field. They shot 69 percent in the first half.

Cole Huff scored 14, Malik Albert 12, and Khyri Thomas, Zach Hanson and Maurice Watson Jr. had 10 points each for Creighton.

The Bluejays have not trailed in their last four home games, beating Nebraska 83-67, IUPUI 90-65 and North Texas.

Trevon Seymore had 22 points for Coppin State (2-12).
