TCU hands Delaware State 13th straight loss 75-47

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) Karviar Shepherd had 15 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, with 10 on the offensive end, and TCU beat Delaware State 75-47 on Monday night to hand the Hornets a 13th straight loss.

TCU, which has won four straight, led by just six points at halftime but went on a 20-3 run, with scoring from six different players, to open the second half. Brandon Parrish and Vladimir Brodziansky combined for three consecutive 3-pointers during a 12-0 run for a 33-point lead with 7:28 left.

Malique Trent and Chauncey Collins added 12 points apiece for TCU (8-4). Chris Washburn saw his first action of the season after missing 11 games with a broken right pinky finger and scored five points on 1-of-10 shooting. Brandon Parrish chipped in 10 points.

Shepherd set a career-best with his 17th rebound at the 10:36 mark, helping TCU build a 51-30 lead. The Frogs held a 45-30 advantage on the glass and forced 17 turnovers.

Dana Raysor led Delaware State (0-13) with 17 points and freshman Devin Morgan Jr. had 11 to finish in double figures for the fourth straight game. The duo combined to make seven of Delaware State's 10 3-pointers, but the Hornets were just 15-of-48 shooting (31 percent) overall.

Delaware State trailed just 22-20 with 7:54 left in the first half, but went scoreless the rest of the way. Raysor made the Hornets' only field goal in the opening eight minutes of the second half.

TCU beat Bradley 53-49 on Wednesday and have now held consecutive opponents - and three overall this season - to below 50 points. The Frogs have accomplished that feat 14 times in the last four years.
