The Clemson Tigers have suspended three players for violating team rules, according to multiplereports.

Aaron Brenner of The Post & Courierreports that freshman wideout Deon Cain, senior kicker Ammon Lakip and junior tight end Jay Jay McCullough all failed drug tests and will be held out of Thursday’s College Football Playoff semifinal game against No. 4 Oklahoma.

All three players were present at Orange Bowl media day on Tuesday, but were later sent home.

Cain has 34 catches for an average of 17.1 yards with five touchdowns on the season.

Kickoff between the 13–0 Tigers and 11–1 Sooners in the Orange Bowl is set for 4 p.m. ET on Thursday.
