LSU running back Leonard Fournette was up to his old tricks on Tuesday.

The sophomore racked up 212 yards on the ground and five total touchdowns in the Tigers’ 56–27 Texas Bowl win over Texas Tech, and even hauled in his first career touchdown reception.

After scoring starting the scoring with a touchdown run in the first, Fournette caught a short pass from quarterback Brandon Harris during the second quarter of Tuesday’s game, and accelerated down the right sideline for a 44-yard score to give LSU a 21–6 lead.

Later, in the third quarter, Fournette took a handoff up the middle, angled down the left side, and ran 43 yards to the end zone for his second rushing touchdown of the game.

Minutes later, Fournette ran in from four yards out for his third rushing score of the night.

In the fourth, he scored his fifth total touchdown of the game, setting an LSU bowl record.
