Florida successfully deployed some early trickery against Michigan at the Citrus Bowl on Friday.

Capping an eight-play drive near the end of the first quarter, the Gators lined up in the wildcat formation on Michigan’s two-yard-line. Running back Kelvin Taylor took the snap and ran to his left, handing the ball to a streaking Antonio Callaway. Quarterback Treon Harris was left uncovered and burst into open space on the right side of the field, where he comfortably caught an underhand pass for a touchdown.

The score tied the game at 7–7 following an extra point by Neil MacInnes.
