Four-star offensive tackle Jean Delance has committed to Texas.

Four-star offensive tackle Jean Delance has committed to Texas, he announced at Saturday’s Under Armour All-America game.

The senior from North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas chose the Longhorns over Michigan and LSU, his other two finalists.

Delance, who measures 6’5” and weighs 270 pounds, is the No. 5 offensive tackle and No. 63 prospect in the country according to Scout.com.

​Upon his commitment, Texas coach Charlie Strong expressed his excitement on Twitter:

Delance joins is one of six four-star recruits to commit to Texas; the school also received verbals from quarterback Shane Buechele, cornerback Obi Eboh, defensive end Andrew Fitzgerald and wide receivers Reggie Hemphill-Mapps and Collin Johnson
