North Dakota State crushes Denver 75-49

FARGO, N.D. (AP) Paul Miller scored 18 points and North Dakota State crushed Denver 75-49 on Sunday.

Miller was 6 of 12 from the floor, including four 3-pointers, as the Bison (11-4, 1-0 Summit) shot nearly 62 percent overall and made 8 of 12 on 3-point attempts. Carlin Dupree scored 16 points, Khy Kabellis added 15 and A.J. Jacobson had 11. The Bison outrebounded Denver 28-14.

Denver (8-7, 0-2) was led by Joe Rosga with 16 points and Bryant Rucker with 12.

The Pioneers scored the first basket of the game, but never led again. The Bison made a 10-point run early - including a pair of 3-pointers by Miller - and led by eight, 35-27, at intermission.

A seven-point spurt midway through the second half made it 55-37, and the Bison ran off 12 straight points late as Denver went more than six minutes without scoring.
