Bolomboy leads Weber State to 77-56 win over Idaho State

OGDEN, Utah (AP) Joel Bolomboy posted a double-double, scoring 25 points with 13 rebounds, as Weber State notched its fourth-straight win, beating Idaho State 77-56 on Saturday night.

Bolomboy was 9 of 12 from the field and 7 of 9 from the line for the Wildcats (9-5, 1-0 Big Sky Conference). Zach Braxton and Kyndahl Hill scored 11 points apiece. The team averaged 44.8 percent shooting from the field and 69 percent from the line.

Weber State took the lead in the first minute of the game and never relinquished it, climbing to a 44-28 advantage at the break.

Idaho State got as close as trailing by 11 points, 60-49, with 10:09 left in the second half but hit just two buckets after that. The Wildcats continued to score and Bolomboy dunked to extend their lead to 75-52 with 1:47 left.

Ethan Telfair scored 15 points with six rebounds for the Bengals (5-8, 0-1).
