Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller will forgo his senior season and declare for the 2016 NFL draft, he announced on Twitter on Sunday.

“My heart truly wanted to return to Notre Dame, but it has also been a lifelong dream to play football in the NFL,” Fuller said in a statement. “After taking all of this into lengthy consideration, I believe it is in my best interest to forgo my senior season and enter the 2016 draft. I came to Notre Dame to earn a degree from the greatest University in the world, and I will still accomplish that goal.”

Fuller had 62 catches for 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for Notre Dame. The 6’0”, 184-pound wide receiver recorded 76 catches for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore last year.

Fuller had six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in Notre Dame’s 44–28 loss to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day.
