Texas A&M and offensive coordinator Jake Spavital have mutually agreed to part ways after three seasons, the school announced on Sunday.

The 30-year-old has been with the Aggies since the 2013 season, when he coached the team’s quarterbacks. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2014.

“I want to thank Jake for his time here and for his important role in our program,” head coach Kevin Sumlin said in a statement. “He is a bright, young coach with a tremendous future in coaching and we wish him all of the best in his career.”
