North Carolina forward Brice Johnson posted a monster stat line in Monday night’s win over Florida State, recording 39 points and 23 rebounds in 37 minutes. He is the first Tar Heels player since 1976 with at least 30 points and 20 rebounds in the same game.

Johnson and point guard Marcus Paige, who scored 30 points, accounted for 65% of UNC’s offensive output in the 106–90 victory. As a team, the Tar Heels out-rebounded the Seminoles 50–33. 

Johnson was 14-of-16 from the floor, 11-of-16 from the free-throw line, and also recorded three blocks and three steals.

Johnson made highlight plays on both ends of the floor. 

Johnson, a 6'10" senior, entered the game averaging 15.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. UNC improved to 14–2 with the win, and 3–0 in the ACC.
