Oklahoma State DE Emmanuel Ogbah declares for NFL draft

Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah will forgo his senior season and enter for the NFL draft.

Oklahoma State standout defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah will forgo his senior season and declare for the NFL draft, he announced on Twitter on Wednesday.

“Oklahoma state will always be my home and I promise to represent our university with respect, class, character and dignity,” Ogbah wrote. “I have learned so much from being a part of this prestigious university and it will carry me on in life.”

In his redshirt junior season for the Cowboys in 2015, Ogbah recorded 64 tackles, including 17.5 for loss, and had 13 sacks. In 2014, Ogbah posted 11 sacks and 17 for loss, en route to becoming the Big 12 defensive lineman of the year.

Ogbah is a projected first-round selection.

Oklahoma State finished the 2015 season with a 10–3 record, following a 48–20 loss to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl last Friday.
