Texas State DT Will Trevillion dies

Trevillion, 20, was a redshirt sophomore in 2015 and recorded three tackles in five games

Texas State defensive tackle Will Trevillion has died, the university announced on Wednesday night.

Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family of Will Trevillion. The world lost an amazing young man today.

Trevillion, 20, was a redshirt sophomore in 2015 and recorded three tackles in five games. He had nine tackles in nine games for the Bobcats.

Head coach Dennis Franchione posted the following message on Twitter.

Our prayers go out to Will T. Family great parents with a special son who will be missed by many! His attitude/smile will be missed!RIP

The circumstances for his death were not immediately known. Mike Perchick of KVUE in Texas reports an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
