Bisping's career high leads Siena over Fairfield 91-76

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Brett Bisping scored a career-high 28 points and Siena downed Fairfield 91-76 on Thursday.

Bisping was 10 of 18 from the floor, made 8 of 10 from the line and added eight rebounds. Javion Ogunyemi scored 19 points with four blocked shots, Nico Clareth had 14 points and Lavon Long scored 10 points with a career-high 14 rebounds. The Saints (10-6, 3-2 Metro Atlantic) shot over 55 percent and won the rebounding battle 50-28.

Fairfield (7-7, 1-3) was led by Marcus Gilbert with 24 points and five rebounds. Tyler Nelson had 17 points and Curtis Cobb added 11.

Siena never trailed, and a 6-2 spurt right before the half gave the Saints a 46-36 lead at intermission.

Bisping made a layup and jumper as part of a 6-0 run early in second half to push the lead to 16, and Fairfield never threatened.
