Towson cruises to 76-60 win over UNC Wilmington

TOWSON, Md. (AP) William Adala Moto scored 20 points, hitting 13 of 14 from the line, to lead Towson past UNC Wilmington for a 76-60 win Thursday night.

Mike Morsell added 17 points while grabbing nine rebounds and Byron Hawkins had 16 points for Towson (11-5, 2-1 Colonial), which hit 49 percent of its 43 shots from the floor and dominated on the boards, 43-25. The Tigers got 29 points from the line on 36 attempts and held Wilmington (9-5, 1-2) to its lowest total of the season.

Wilmington's C.J. Bryce sank the game's first bucket to give the Seahawks (9-5, 1-2) their only lead. Towson responded with a 17-2 run that included 3-pointers from Moto and Morsell and carried a 36-25 advantage into the break.

Denzel Ingram led Wilmington with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Bryce and Chris Flemmings finished with 10 apiece.
