Watch: Jake Coker hits O.J. Howard for 53-yard touchdown

Jake Coker found O.J. Howard for the first score of the second half.

Alabama drew first blood in the second half. 

Crimson Tide quarterback Jake Coker found O.J. Howard wide open down the right sideline for a 53-yard touchdown to give Alabama a 21–14 lead early in the third quarter of the national championship game. Howard hauled in the pass near the 25-yard line and ran untouched for the score.

The touchdown was Howard's first score of the season.
