Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware sustained an upper body injury in Monday’s title game against Alabama and exited in the second quarter.

In an attempt to tackle Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley, Boulware experienced a hard block and went down to the ground holding his right arm.

The junior had previously been dealing with an arm injury, as he said after the ACC title game that he had “been playing with one arm” for two games, according to Clemson beat reporter Dan Hope.

Clemson and Alabama were tied at the half.
