Durham helps Jacksonville State roll over UT Martin 82-60

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) Erik Durham scored a career-high 31 points, including eight 3-pointers, and Jacksonville State rolled past Tennessee-Martin 82-60 on Saturday.

Durham was 10 of 16 from the field and 8 of 13 from beyond the arc as the Gamecocks (7-14, 3-3 Ohio Valley) shot nearly 51 percent overall and 17 of 36 (47.2 percent) on 3-point attempts. JaQuail Townser added 13 points while Jared Hamilton and Greg Tucker scored 12 apiece.

Twymond Howard paced UT Martin with 15 points and Myles Taylor had 11 for the Skyhawks (10-9, 2-2).

Jacksonville State never trailed. The Gamecocks led by nine with 2:10 left in the first half, and Durham hit a jumper and 3-pointer to stretch it to 44-30 at intermission. They scored the first seven points of the second half and UT Martin never threatened.
