Franklin leads Abilene Christian over McNeese State 75-67

ABILENE, Texas (AP) Jaylen Franklin scored 29 points and had six steals to lead Abilene Christian to a 75-67 victory over McNeese State on Tuesday night.

Franklin was 11 of 15 from the floor. Jaren Lewis had 12 points and Duran Porter added 10 for the Wildcats (8-10, 3-2 Southland Conference), who shot 52 percent from the floor and have won four of their last six games.

Jamaya Burr scored 21 points to lead McNeese State (3-12, 1-4). James Harvey had 14 points, and Craig McFerrin and Jarren Greenwood added 12 apiece.

Harvey hit a 3-pointer to pull the Cowboys to 62-57 with four minutes left. Jovan Crnic made a pair of free throws, Lewis a 3-pointer, and Parker Wentz a layup to stretch the Wildcats' lead to 69-57 with 2:44 left.

Crnic and Wentz each made two free throws, and Porter added a dunk to seal it for Abilene Christian.
