New College Football Playoff selection committee members were added on Thursday, announced the CFP’s executive director Bill Hancock.

Jeff Bower, Lloyd Carr, Herb Deromedi and Rob Mullens were appointed by the CFP Management Committee to replace Matt Gould, Pat Haden, Tom Osbourne and Mike Tranghese, whose terms expired at the end of the 2015–16 season.

“We are delighted that Jeff, Lloyd, Herb and Rob are joining the committee,” Hancock said. “Throughout the selection process, it was essential that the four new members have an in-depth knowledge and passion for college football. Each of these four fit that description perfectly. They will continue the high integrity of the committee.”

The new members’ three-year terms begin in the spring.
