Four-star offensive tackle Willie Allen commits to LSU
Four-star offensive tackle Willie Allen committed to LSU on Thursday.
“First of all I want to thank God, I want to thank the coaches for taking the the time to recruit me,” Allen said. “I want to thank my family and friends. It’s been a long process. I’m just ready to get it over with. For the next four years I will be attending Louisiana State University.”
Allen, an Under Armour All–American, joins Donavaughn Campbell and Jakori Savage in LSU’s 2016 offensive line class.
According to Scout.com, Allen is the 15th-best offensive tackle in the class of 2016. He is also Louisiana’s top player at the position.
The River Ridge, La., native chose LSU over Auburn, TCU and Ole Miss.
