Fairleigh Dickinson rallies to beat LIU Brooklyn 101-95

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) Darian Anderson scored nine of his career-high 32 points in the final minute and Fairleigh Dickinson beat LIU Brooklyn 101-95 on Thursday night.

Aakim Saintil made a free throw to pull LIU Brooklyn to 92-88 with 1:24 to play. Anderson answered with a 3-pointer and made 6 of 6 free throws to seal it for the Knights (9-9, 5-2 Northeast Conference), who bounced back after losing to Robert Morris, 64-58 on Jan. 16 that snapped a three-game win streak.

Stephan Jiggetts had 20 points and Marques Townes added 15 for Fairleigh Dickinson.

Joel Hernandez scored 27 points and grabbed ten rebounds to lead LIU Brooklyn (9-9, 3-4).

Saintil converted a 3-point play and the Blackbirds led 70-60 with 11 minutes left. Anderson made a pair of free throws to spark a 15-0 run to give the Knights a 75-70 lead. It was tied 82-all before Townes made a 3 and the Knights pulled away.
