White, Uchebo lead Charlotte past Marshall 103-95

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Andrien White had a career-high 30 points, Joseph Uchebo had career highs of 24 points and 21 rebounds and Charlotte raced to a 103-95 win over Marshall on Thursday night.

Jon Davis added 21 points and Curran Scott 16 for the 49ers (5-13, 2-4 Conference USA), who shot 35 of 68 from the field, making 10 of 15 3-pointers and 23 of 29 from the foul line.

Jon Elmore had 27 points and James Kelly had 25 and 14 rebounds for Marshall (9-10, 5-1), which had its five-game winning streak snapped but scored at least 90 points for the sixth straight game. The Thundering Herd only led for 2:58 of the game after only trailing for a total of 3:22 in the first five conference games.

White hit eight-straight 3-pointers before missing his last attempt. Uchebo has had at least 18 rebounds in four straight games.

Marshall shot 54 percent with 12 3-pointers but was just 9 of 14 from the line.
