Incarnate Word rolls over Abilene Christian 74-60

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Derail Green scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Incarnate Word dominated the final period on the way to a 74-60 win over Abilene Christian on Saturday.

Green was 9 of 12 from the floor. Kyle Hittle was 7 of 12 for 19 points and Shawn Johnson added 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Incarnate Word (9-7, 4-1 Southland Conference), which has won four straight conference games after dropping the opener to Sam Houston State 78-72.

The Cardinals shot 59 percent from the floor, making 14 of 22 in the second half.

ACU's Parker Wentz nailed two treys to open the scoring as the Wildcats took an 8-0 lead. Incarnate Word recovered to lead 34-27 at the break. The Cardinals opened the second half with a 14- 4 run and coasted to the win.

Jovan Crnic had 14 points and Jaylen Franklin added 12 for ACU (8-11, 3-3).
