DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Ronnel Jordan scored three times his average with a career-high 25 points and five 3-pointers as New Hampshire ganged up on Hartford 84-71 to try and stop the nearly unstoppable Pancake Thomas on Sunday.

In addition to Jordan's career scoring day, Jaleen Smith added 19 points with six assists and Tanner Leissner 17 points with nine rebounds as New Hampshire (11-8, 4-2 America East) shot 55 percent, and scored 42 points in the paint compared to Hartford's 18 thanks to a 48-25 edge on the boards.

Thomas single-handedly tried to keep Hartford (7-14, 2-4) in the game, busting out for a career-best 38 points, making 12 of 17 field goals, 4 of 7 3-pointers and converting 10 of 12 foul shots. He only turned the ball over once. He joins former NBA All-Star Vin Baker as the only Hartford players with more than one 35-point game.
