Four-star WR Tre Nixon commits to Ole Miss
Four-star wide receiver Tre Nixon announced his commitment to the Ole Miss Rebels on Monday.
“First of all, I would like to thank god, my family, teammates, coaches and everyone who has supported me throughout this process. Non of this would have been possible without you. This has been on of the toughest decisions, but with many thoughts and prayers and support from family and friends I have decided that I will be committing to the University of Mississippi!” Nixon wrote on Twitter.
The wide receiver visited the university this past weekend.
“It just felt at home for me,” Nixon told Scout.com. “As soon as I stepped on campus I knew it was the place for me. I just wanted to come back and see if it felt like it did the last time I was here. Ole Miss is where I've been leaning for a long time. The trip here was just to reassure my feelings that I've always had.”
Nixon is the No. 86 overall prospect and the No. 13 wide receiver on Scout.com.
