(STATS) - Look to the secondary to find former FCS players in the Pro Bowl.

New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was named Tuesday as a replacement for Sunday's game. He'll take the spot of New England's injured Malcolm Butler.

Rodgers-Cromartie was a first-round draft pick of Arizona in 2008. That was the last year FCS players went in the first round as DRC was selected 16th overall, two spots before Baltimore picked quarterback Joe Flacco of Delaware.

Speaking of Delaware, Indianapolis safety Mike Adams was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his 11-year career Monday. He replaced Seattle's Kam Chancellor.

The Cardinals' Justin Bethel, a cornerback by trade, is making his third straight Pro Bowl appearance as a special teams selection. He's a former FCS All-American from Presbyterian.

Also, Carolina cornerback Josh Norman and fullback Mike Tolbert were selected to play in the Pro Bowl, but the former Coastal Carolina standouts were replaced because their team is preparing for Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7.
