Chicago Theatre to host Powerade Jam Fest

The Chicago Theatre is slated to host the Powerade Jam Fest, which includes a dunk and skills contest before the McDonald's All-American game, organizers announced.
Last year's Jam Fest was held in a gym at the University of Chicago.

It is the first basketball event at the Chicago Theatre and will take place on March 28. A half-court set will be placed on center stage, with front-row seats flanking the center-court circle.
The only other sporting events held at the Chicago Theatre have been UFC and MMA weigh-ins.

In addition to a dunk and skills contest, the festivities include a Legends & Stars Shootout which pairs current high-school stars and famous alumni.
