CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) Alex Rosenberg scored 14 points, including a buzzer-beating jumper, to give Columbia a 55-54 win over Harvard on Saturday night, extending the Lions' best Ivy League start in 22 years.

Corbin Miller missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 7.2 seconds left to set up Rosenberg's heroics. He got the ball as he cross midcourt, dribbled to the top of the key, veered to the left elbow and just beat the buzzer as he faded left.

Maodo Lo added 11 points for Columbia (15-6, 4-0), which overcame a miserable start.

Zena Edosomwan scored the first five points and Corey Johnson the last five as Harvard raced to a 14-0 lead. Then Evan Cummins, the final starter to score, had six straight before a Miller 3 made it 23-6 nine minutes into the game. The Crimson led 33-17 at the break.

Columbia returned the favor to start the second half as Luke Petrasek scored the first five points and Rosenberg the next five to pull the Lions within 33-27. A Rosenberg backdoor layup capped an 8-0 run that gave Columbia a 43-42 lead with 7:25 to play.

There were five lead changes and three ties from that point.

Cummins had 11 points for Harvard (9-11, 1-3), which lost its third straight.
