Jackson, who had been committed to the Aggies since May, made the switch following his official visit to Norman last weekend.
“I needed some place where I couldn’t just play football but could also become a better student,” Jackson said. “I definitely feel like I have that chance at OU.”
The No. 149 player in the Scout 300 and No. 19 defensive end in his class, Jackson was a U.S. Army All-America selection.
The Cibolo, Texas native is the fourth four-star commitment in Oklahoma’s class of 2016 since Saturday afternoon.
