Four-star wide receiver A.J. Brown commits to Ole Miss
Four-star wide receiver A.J. Brown announced on Wednesday that he has committed to Ole Miss.
The Starkville, Miss. native is the No. 5 receiver and 52nd overall player in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com. He chose the Rebels over Mississippi State and Alabama.
Brown led Starkville to a 14–1 record this season, grabbing 83 receptions for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was a 2016 Under Armour All-America selection.
Here is what Scout.com has to say about Brown:
“Brown looks like a college wide receiver right now. He is well put together and very strong for a wideout. Has the looks of a high school linebacker, but runs like a receiver, catches like a receiver, and knows how to make plays like a big-time receiver. Deceptive speed. Can make the quick cuts and he finds ways to get open. Very strong hands and a dependable receiver. Is going to be a go-to guy on the next level.”

Brown is the 24th commitment in Ole Miss’ 2016 recruiting class.
