Four-star wide receiver Quartney Davis committed to Texas A&M on Wednesday, the school announced on Twitter.

Davis is ranked 90th overall among recruits in the class of 2016 and 14th among receivers, according to Scout.com. Davis, a Houston native, chose A&M over Ole Miss and Oklahoma State.

The 6'3", 185-pound receiver caught 35 passes for 901 yards with eight touchdowns in his junior season at Langham Creek High School.

According to Scout, Davis “possesses good size and should be able to gain significant positive weight thanks to long, wiry frame. Height, laser-verified 4.57 speed make him vertical threat.” Scout lists Davis’s competitiveness and running ability as his strengths, while he still has room to improve his physical strength.
