Four-star defensive end Erick Fowler flipped his commitment to Texas from LSU on Wednesday, reports the Dallas Morning News’ Nick Castillo.

Fowler is the No. 21 defensive end in the nation for the class of 2016 and No. 7 at his position in Texas, according to Scout.com. He was a U.S. Army Bowl All-America selection this year at Manor High School.

His decision comes after Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong made a visit last week to the defensive end’s home in Texas. Fowler had previously called LSU his “dream school,” and had been committed to the Tigers since June.

Fowler also had offers from Alabama, Baylor, Michigan, Oklahoma, TCU and UCLA.
