Stony Brook beats Binghamton 76-51 to win 14th straight

STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) Lucas Woodhouse scored 14 points with four 3-pointers, Jameel Warney added 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Stony Brook rallied with a big second half to beat Binghamton 76-51 on Wednesday night to win their 14th straight game, the nation's longest active winning streak.

Carson Puriefoy and Bryan Sekunda scored 12 apiece, Rayshaun McGrew added 11. The Seawolves (18-4, 9-0 American East) shot 51 percent from the floor and made 11 of 19 3-pointers (58 percent).

Binghamton led 28-27 at halftime, but the Seawolves gained on a 9-4 run early in the second half, led 39-37 on Puriefoy's 3-pointer, then pulled away on a 14-0 run in which Sekunda hit back-to-back 3s and led 55-39 with 8:21 left.

The Seawolves outscored the Bearcats 49-23 in the second half and outscored them 32-20 in the paint overall.

Willie Rodriguez scored 16 points and Marlon Beck II added 12 for the Bearcats (5-17, 2-7).
