Coastal Carolina holds off Presbyterian 69-66

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) Shivaughn Wiggins scored 24 points with a career-high four 3-pointers, and Coastal Carolina led from start to finish and held off Presbyterian 69-66 Wednesday night for its sixth-straight win.

Badou Diagne scored 12 points, Colton Ray-St Cyr added 11 and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds, and the Chanticleers (14-8, 8-4 Big South) outrebounded the Blue Hose 35-23.

Wiggins hit a 3-pointer for a 24-19 Coastal Carolina lead, then the Chanticleers put together a 12-4run and led 36-27 at halftime.

Presbyterian steadily rallied in the second half, pulling to within 68-64 on Ruben Arroyo's 3-pointer with 16 seconds left. Wiggins responded with a free throw, then Presbyterian's Jaron Withers made a layup to make it a 3-point game. Reggie Dillard missed a potential tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Janeil Jenkins led Presbyterian (8-14, 3-8) with a career-high 15 points.
