Big game from Hooker, McDermott in UND's win over Idaho St.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) Quinton Hooker turned in a triple-double, Adam McDermott had career highs of eight 3-pointers and 28 points, and North Dakota snapped Idaho State's four-game win streak with a 76-60 victory on Thursday night.

Hooker scored 13 points, had 10 assists and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds for what is believed to be the Fighting Hawks' first triple-double in their Division-I era.

North Dakota (11-10, 6-4 Big Sky) was better from the arc with 12 of 27 3-pointers for 44 percent than they were overall (40 percent).

Ethan Telfair led the Bengals (10-11, 5-4 Big Sky) with 13 points. Idaho State shot just 31 percent and was only 7 of 30 from the arc.

North Dakota took the lead for good early on and led 34-24 at halftime, and was up 25 with 3:29 to go after a pair of baskets from Drick Bernstine, who scored 12 points.
