SE Louisiana cruises to 81-60 win over Abilene Christian

HAMMOND, La. (AP) Moses Greenwood scored 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting to help Southeastern Louisiana roll past Abilene Christian for an 81-60 win Saturday.

Jordan Capps and Zay Jackson added 13 points apiece, JaMichael Hawkins had 12 and Marlain Veal 11 for Southeastern Louisiana (5-17, 3-6 Southland). Capps also hauled in 13 rebounds as the Lions extended their home win streak to three.

Southeastern Louisiana, which shot 58 percent from the field, took the lead for good in the first half on Joshua Filmore's 3-pointer, which sparked a 9-2 spurt to make it 24-17 and continued rolling to a 36-26 advantage at the break. The margin never tightened below double figures over the final 20 minutes.

Jaylen Franklin paced Abilene Christian (10-13, 5-5) with a game-high 20 points and five assists. Duran Porter added 10 points for the Wildcats, who had 18 turnovers.
