UC Santa Barbara roars past CS Fullerton in 2nd half, 81-68

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) Michael Bryson and Gabe Vincent combined to score 45 points and UC Santa Barbara roared back from a seven-point halftime deficit to post an 81-68 victory over CS Fullerton Saturday night.

Fullerton went on a 10-0 run that featured 3-pointers from Tre Coggins and Malcolm Brooks to take a nine point lead with under two minutes to play in the first half. Bryson hit two free throws to cut the lead to seven with 1:11 left, sending the Titans into intermission with a 34-27 advantage.

Bryson's layup put the Gauchos in the lead for good, 41-40 with 13:56 left, sparking a 13-2 run that vaulted UC Santa Barbara into a 10-point lead, 52-42.

Bryson finished with 25 points for UC Santa Barbara (10-12, 4-5 Big West). Vincent added another 20.

Khalil Ahmad paced CS Fullerton (9-13, 2-7) with 21 points and Coggins added another 17.
