Fairleigh Dickinson holds share of first, tops Bryant 91-77

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) Mike Holloway scored 20 points and Fairleigh Dickinson maintained its share of first place in the Northeast Conference by beating Bryant, 91-77 on Thursday night.

Fairleigh Dickinson remains tied with Saint Francis (Pa) in first place. Wagner, which entered play Thursday in a three-way tie for first, lost to LIU Brooklyn.

The Knights built a 12-point lead after the first half of play, but the Bulldogs kept it close, trailing by just seven points with four minutes to play. But Fairleigh Dickinson closed the game out on a 15-2 run.

Earl Potts Jr. added 17 points and Stephan Jiggetts added 16 for Fairleigh Dickinson (13-11, 9-4). Darian Anderson finished with 15 points.

Nisre Zouzoua scored 25 points for Bryant (7-19, 4-9), with Dan Garvin adding 17 points and 11 rebounds and Hunter Ware contributing 14 points.
