Yale winning streak at 11 after 75-65 win over Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) Makai Mason scored 25 points and Justin Sears had 21 with 13 rebounds to lead Yale to a 75-65 win over Dartmouth on Friday night, the Bulldogs' 11th-straight victory.

Yale, down one at half, used a 10-2 run to go up 52-51 with 8:38 to play. Almost immediately they put together a 13-2 run that included two of four second-half 3-pointers by Mason, to make it 64-54 at the 4:01 mark.

Dartmouth was within six on a 3 from Evan Boudreaux with 1:52 left but Yale (16-5, 7-0 Ivy) made 7 of 8 from the line, four by Mason, to go 7-0 in league play for the first time. The winning streak is the longest since winning 12 in 1948-49. The school record is 13, set in 1906-07.

Brandon Sherrod added 14 points for the Bulldogs. Sears also had 13 rebounds, seven on the offensive end.

Bourdreaux had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Miles Wright had 15 points for the Big Green (7-14, 1-6).
