Hofstra rallies to beat Delaware 77-66
Newark, Del. (AP) Juan'ya Green scored 19 points and passed out 12 assists, and Rokas Gustys tied a career high with 21 rebounds and scored 18 points as Hofstra needed a late rally to beat Delaware 77-66.
It was the third time Gustys-a sophomore-posted 21 boards.
At second place in the Colonial Athletic Association, Hofstra (18-8, 10-4) is a game ahead of Towson, William & Mary and James Madison.
Kory Holden's 3 gave Delaware a 45-36 lead with 14:48 to play before the Pride went to work and outscored the Blue Hens 21-11 and took a 57-56 lead on Denton Koon's 3-point play.
Later, Green hit a layup, Koon hit a 3 and Gustys and Green each hit two free throws for a 74-65 lead with 48 seconds to play.
Holden finished with 23 points for Delaware (6-19, 1-13), Marvin King-Davis had 16 and Anthony Mosley added 11.
