Four-star 2017 QB Dylan McCaffrey commits to Michigan

Dylan McCaffrey, a four-star quarterback in the class of 2017, has verbally committed to Michigan, he announced Monday night.

McCaffrey, the younger brother of star Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey, also drew interest from Colorado, Duke, LSU, UCLA, Nebraska and others. He led Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo., to a 12–2 record last season.

Scout.com ranks McCaffrey as the No. 39 player in his class and the No. 3 quarterback. He first visited the Michigan campus as a high school sophomore.

Older brother Max McCaffrey played wide receiver for Duke and is projected as a late-round NFL draft pick. The youngest McCaffrey brother, Luke, is also a high school quarterback. Their father Ed played 13 seasons as a receiver in the NFL.
