CLEVELAND (AP) Alec Peters scored 15 with 10 rebounds, and Tevonn Walker scored 13 to help Valparaiso beat Cleveland State 66-43 Tuesday night.

Valparaiso, which lost 61-59 to Wright State last Saturday, improved to 10-0 in games following a loss since closing the 2013-14 season with back-to-back losses.

Cleveland State (8-19, 3-11 Horizon League) made a season-low 14 field goals and shot just 28.6 percent overall en route to its lowest scoring output since a 53-43 loss at West Virginia on Dec. 6, 2008.

Back-to-back jumpers by Jubril Adekoya capped an 11-2 run that gave the Crusaders (22-5, 12-2) a 20-9 lead with 5:52 left in the first half.

Valparaiso took a 29-17 lead into the break and led by double figures throughout the second half.

Rob Edwards led Cleveland State with 11 points.
