HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) Chaise Daniels had what would prove to be the game-winning block with 0.4 seconds left in Quinnipiac's 56-55 win over Saint Peter's on Thursday night.

Daniels held his ground and swatted Trevis Wyche's driving attempt out of bounds. Quadir Welton made a shot for Saint Peter's from the ensuing inbounds pass but it was ruled too late after an official review.

Abdulai Bundu hit 1 of 2 free throws to give Quinnipiac (9-17, 6-11 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) the winning score with 8 seconds left.

Daniels, Giovanni McLean and Daniel Harris each had 10 points to lead the Bobcats. James Ford Jr. chipped in with nine points and six assists.

Welton had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Wyche scored 11 for the Peacocks (12-14, 10-7). Saint Peter's rallied from a 53-43 deficit with 5:35 left and tied it at 55-all when Welton hit 1 of 2 from the foul line with 22 seconds left.
