ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) Freshman Evan Boudreaux scored 22 points and grabbed a season-high 18 rebounds for a third straight double-double and Dartmouth defeated Cornell 78-66 on Friday night, winning on the road for the first time since Dec. 9.

Dartmouth (9-14, 3-6) opened the second half of Ivy League play with Taylor Johnson adding 14 points and Miles Wright 13, avenging an earlier loss to Cornell. Big Green made 25 of 32 foul shots.

Junior Darryl Smith, averaging 8.6 points per game, led Cornell (9-14, 2-7) with a career-high 22 points - scoring all 12 points in one four-minute stretch of the second half to bring Big Red back into the game. Robert Hatter, the Ivy's leading scorer, added 11 on 4-for-12 shooting.

The all-time series between the longtime rivals is knotted at 106 wins apiece.

Boudreaux has nine double-doubles this season, the most by a Dartmouth player in 22 years.
