LIU Brooklyn beats Saint Francis (Pa.) 94-89 in overtime

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Martin Hermannsson scored seven of his 25 points and Aakim Saintil five of his 20 in overtime to lead LIU Brooklyn to a 94-89 victory over Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday.

LIU's Nura Zanna, who had 12 points, scored the first basket in overtime and Hermannsson and Saintil took care of the rest.

Jerome Frink added 21 points and 10 rebounds and Joel Hernandez 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Blackbirds (14-13, 8-8 Northeast).

Ronnie Drinnon scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Red Flash (13-14, 9-7) before picking up his fifth foul with 30.7 seconds left in regulation with Hermannsson making both free throws to trail by one. After a Saint Francis free throw, Hernandez tied it at 80-all with a basket with 21 seconds left before the Red Flash missed two shots as time ran out.

Ben Millaud-Meunier added 18 points for Saint Francis.
