Bucknell overtakes Boston University 80-59

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) Chris Hass scored 21 points to lead Bucknell past Boston University with an 80-59 win Sunday and preserve the Bison's one-game lead atop the Patriot League standings.

Ryan Frazier added 16 points, including four 3-pointers, for Bucknell (15-12, 12-4). Dom Hoffman had 15 points, Nana Foulland scored 10 and Stephen Brown dished out 10 assists for the Bison, who went 29 of 62 from the field (47 percent) with 24 assists to end BU's seven-game win streak.

Bucknell took control with a 16-0 run stretching across both sides of the intermission to carve out a 41-27 lead with 17:53 to go. Hass and Frazier both had 3-pointers during the run, which gave Bucknell the lead for good.

John Papale led BU (17-12, 10-6) with 11 points and Kamali Chambers added eight. The defeat was the first for the Terriers since their Jan. 23 loss to Bucknell at home.
